How much does glass weigh?

3/8" thick glass = 4.91 lbs. per square foot
1/2" thick glass = 6.54 lbs. per square foot

Clear Glass is the most commonly used and least expensive. Clear Low-Iron Glass, Colored Glass, or any Textured/Obscured Glass are more expensive. Rain, Bubbles, Aqua view and Crepe only come in 3/8" thickness.
